April 3, 2004 - "Melt" at The Mississippi Featuring fashion by nine Portland designers. The first hot day of the year turned into an even hotter night at Melt, as bodies packed in tight to ogle the latest trends in the PDX fashion scene. The Jolenes started it out, riling up a crowd fueled with free champagne, and DJ Jubei got spinning while Mr. ChaCha in his periwinkle jacket brought out model after model. When the fashion frenzy was spent Sketchy Ted took over and the dancing and the drinks spilled over on to the runway. Our apologies to all we had to turn away at the door!
